How is a location selected?
The selection of location is the decision of the client. We do have a list of locations commonly used that we can offer for ideas. We can set up in backyards or indoors as well. There will be additional fees if the desired location is out of our 40 mile round trip distance.
In the guest count, should I include my young kids?
The decision is up to you. If you would like a place setting or a seat for them to eat, yes, the regular rate would apply. If you decide you do not need additional place settings for them, just let us know how many total guests you'll need a place setting for. Please keep in mind, our table size varies with the number of guests that will need a place setting. There may not be enough space for children at the table if not accounted for in original booking discussion.
What food options do you offer?
We offer grazing boards, fruit trays, & brunch boards. We also offer dessert assortments.
Can we leave whenever we are done, even if it is before the end time of our setup?
If you would like to leave earlier than the scheduled end time, we do ask to be notified at least 30 minutes before your time of departure & must be made via text message. You will be responsible for the picnic set up and items until we return for pick up and clean up.
Does Simply Picnics stay with us during our picnic?
No, we leave the picnic with you once you arrive. We return once your picnic reservation time ends. If you need us or have a question, you can call or text us (phone number will be provided in confirmation email).
What time is the latest booking?
The latest booking time for outdoor setups ends at 8 pm EST
How long does it take to get a quote back for my event?
We ask for at least 1 week to be able to give you the best estimate! Time frame may vary depending on the extent of the inquiry and if we need to communicate with outside vendors.
Are you pet-friendly?
We do have options for fur baby add ons. Service animals are permitted to join your setup at no additional cost. Please just let us know in advance.
